Peter from NeoPeng Productions has posted a clip detailing his sound work on Capsized.
We also got a great response from the trailer posted – and we should have some more great news to follow in the coming weeks

A new Capsized trailer has released to show all all of the enhancements since the last 2009 version.
This time we wanted to show off more of the puzzle elements of the game – and show all the different environments and gameplay options. One part that is only briefly shown in the video is the powerup system now in place, where we have a lot of interesting powerups for the user to find (in the video Nanobots are shown, which help destroy attacking enemies)

We won game of the year at Saskatchewan’s interactive media awards SIMA.
We also created a facebook page for Capsized, and entered into the IGF for 2011 (results coming soon, so here’s hoping)
A new trailer is also in development to show off the new graphics of the game (the current trailer is looking very outdated), so that should be released in the next few days.
Along with the new Alientrap website design comes some new Capsized pics.
We are currently getting a new trailer ready, as the old ones seem really outdated compared with the current graphics, along with that we will hopefully have an announcement of Capsized platform and release date.
Intro video released giving some detail on the setting of the game.
We would also like to announce we are looking for play testers for our alpha build! Preferably players experienced with the indie games scene and a large variety of platform games. Along with finding random bugs, we hope to test the usability of the game and the difficultly for the average player.
Currently we are in the process of approaching Microsoft about getting Capsized on Xbox Live Arcade, which is our main platform/marketplace goal as an exclusive. If Microsoft is not able to we would most likely search for a 3rd party publisher.
Nothing is final yet or even given the green light, so it’s possible we would release Capsized on a PC service like Steam or Direct2Drive as an alternative to Xbox entirely. At the moment we are just focusing on getting the game ready for both the IndieCade competition and Pax10.
